Very beautiful piece. A couple minor imperfections. Locket stays snapped together very well but once opened, the shell will come apart. Reflected in the price. Intricate details on the inside of the locket. Gutta percha is an organic material that can degrade over time from sweat, oils, and rough handling. It's best to wear gutta-percha jewelry with care, avoiding physical labor, harsh chemicals, and prolonged exposure to moisture.
