Live Website, Spring Fun, & Hours Update
Quick update: April 24th already! The snow has come and gone. It was a terrible winter in Southampton and surrounding areas! We are still in our "Winter Hours" mode. I am working at the shop from Wednesday to Saturday. Once May rolls around, hours will be extended as tourism in the area flourishes and people are out and about. I have still been working hard behind the scenes. I have done a ton of buying and estate calls. Thank you to anyone who trusted me to facilitate this for them, it's an emotional and overwhelming process at times for the family. Always grateful to help and of course, getting new product for the store helps me out! The website is live, it took me a lot longer than I anticipated. I can be a perfectionist at times and although the website is not full, I am adding to it every day and I am proud of how it turned out. All good things take time and a full and extensive website is no small feat! One step at a time. This weekend is Aberfoyle opener! Aberfoyle is Canada's oldest running antique and vintage market just outside of Guelph. It's an amazing blend of indoor and outdoor vendors. My family has been selling at this market for over 20 years! I pulled out of my booth this year but still anticipate being down there on Sundays to help my dad out and of course, do some shopping! If you haven't been, I recommend you go! The leeks are coming up! If you're a local and want a bunch of leeks, send me a message and I would be happy to sustainably harvest you a fresh bunch! Now that the website is live, I will adhere to my bi-weekly blog schedule & dive into some jewelry topics! Promise.
Happy Spring!
